The Driver Education Certificate

Upon successful completion of both the classroom and in-car training portions of your driver education course, you will receive credit by electronic media.  When you go to the MVA for your driving test, the MVA will simply access your file which will reflect successful completion of the driver education program.  You may request a paper certificate for insurance purposes or for out-of-state licensing.  A fee of $10 will apply.

When Will I Receive My Certificate?

Certificates are processed by electronic media. Upon completion of the program, we will process the completion directly to the student's MVA driving record. When the student appears for testing at the MVA, the MVA will see the driver education completion transaction on his/her record.

How Do I Request A Duplicate Certificate?
