If you are under 18 years old please select a traditional classroom or a zoom class. 

If you complete the DIP program online you must be 18 or older.  This is a self paced course and  there is no minimum time requirement in order to complete. After you complete the online material you will need to contact us to set up a final exam, make payment, and certificate issue. Please call our office at 301-766-0087 to schedule that. Must show photo ID when you attend.

Course Offered in Frederick County, Garrett County, Allegany County and Washington County 

ABOUT OUR DRIVER IMPROVEMENT 

All are welcome to take the class. However, the DIP is typically for:   

• drivers who want to voluntarily take it for another state or before a traffic court date
• drivers referred by the MVA or court
• drivers with a suspended or revoked license or applying for reinstatement
• drivers who have had a moving violation while on a Provisional License

WHAT TO BRING

If you are completing this as a Maryland requirement, you must bring a MVA letter or your Maryland license number in order for us to inform the MVA of your completion.   

Photo ID (can be from anywhere but must include name and photo) 

Online Students only:  Print and bring online Course Progress Report as proof of completion

COST

The cost for the scheduled in person DIP class is $68 in all counties.
